In 2016, Markus Heinsdorff spent two weeks at the biological research station Panguana in Peru, founded in 1968, where the extraordinary biodiversity of the rainforest is being researched. At night, the scientists catch insects on a UV screen, some of which remain there during the day if they are not of interest for research. Video recordings of what happens at night are projected onto a large screen in the Kallmann Museum. 24 small light boxes also show photographs of the animals on the spotted screen during the day.
